Review: Marley's Monsters Facial Rounds

The Problem:

Cotton rounds were beginning to be the death of me. I often found myself using 3-5 in one sitting since one would never do the job. Everyday I threw these straight into the garbage only to realize I was throwing away around 1,500 a year! And maybe I used more cotton rounds than the average person, but even if someone were to use one a day all these disposed rounds can really add up. Not to mention no matter what brand of rounds I used, I always had small cotton fibers all over my face. So. Not. Attractive.

The Solution:

One day, as I was scrolling through my Instagram stories, I came across the owner of Cocokind Skincare (typical pastimes for me) using a reusable cotton round from Marley's Monsters. I knew instantly that these rounds could make a huge impact of my carbon footprint, yet was skeptical about how well these would actually work/ hold up. I ended up getting the greyscale pack because I figured these colors would hold up better over time. For those who are more adventurous than myself, they have hundreds of super fun prints and colors. I have had mine for about two months now, washed them numerous times, and yet they still are in perfect condition.

I could not be happier with the quality and with how easy it is to be more environmentally friendly. I also noticed that more of my makeup gets removed even by using less rounds. Two of them will completely remove my makeup as opposed to the typical four when using normal cotton rounds. I also use facial products that could be harsh on these pads, like the Cocokind Tumeric Stick (this has been known to stain linens). However, even the Tumeric Stick was no match for these rounds as it came out effortlessly in my washer. If you are interested in trying I actually have a code with Marley's Monsters because I completely stand behind their company and their products. If you type "SYDSINSPIRATION" at checkout* you'll get 15% off their whole website.

*In case you are wondering there is no shoppers remorse when you are helping the planet so going crazy at checkout is socially acceptable and your bank account will understand
