Turmeric Grain Bowl

Turmeric used to be something I was really intimidated by until one of the food influencers I follow did a tutorial of how she used them on her eggs. I couldn’t believe how easy it was and I felt like I had been missing out on using this amazing spice for so long. This dish is super simple and easy buy has so much flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups Shaved Brussel Sprouts

  • 1/2 Cucumber

  • 1/2 cup Whole Foods Frozen Brown Rice

  • Turmeric

  • Tahini (to top)

How to:

  1. In a pan, sauté the shaves brussel sprouts with olive oil with a shake or two of turmeric powder.

  2. In another pan fry an egg but right before cracking onto the pan add a shake or two of turmeric.

  3. In the microwave make the Whole Foods brown rice according to the label instructions.

  4. Cut up cucumber into bite size pieces.

  5. In a bowl add the rice, brussel sprouts, fried egg and cucumber.

  6. Top with tahini and enjoy!
